Privacy Policy for Android Apps

This privacy policy applies to all products and services provided by BlockDMask.

1. Purpose of Collecting Personal Information

BlockDMask processes personal information for the following purposes only and does not use it for any other reason:

  • To verify user identity for account registration
  • To provide requested services
  • To manage user membership and authentication
  • To process payments for services or products
  • To deliver services or products as agreed

2. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

1) BlockDMask retains and processes personal information only within the period agreed upon by the user or as required by law.
2) Specific retention periods are as follows:

  • Membership and account management: Until the user cancels their account or terminates the service agreement

3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

1) BlockDMask provides personal information to third parties only with user consent or in accordance with relevant laws (Article 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea).
2) Information is provided as follows:

  • Recipient: Google
  • Purpose of use: Analytics and event tracking (Google Analytics), Personalized ads (Google AdMob)
  • Retention period: As defined by Google per product
  • Privacy Policy: Google Privacy Policy

4. Entrustment of Personal Information Processing

1) BlockDMask currently does not outsource personal information processing to any third parties.

- Retention period: None

2) If outsourcing occurs in the future, BlockDMask will ensure proper contractual terms including prohibition of use beyond purpose, security measures, and supervision in accordance with applicable laws.
3) Any updates to outsourcing will be disclosed through this Privacy Policy immediately.

5. User Rights and How to Exercise Them

Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:

  • Request access to their personal data
  • Request corrections of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of data
  • Request suspension of data processing

6. Items of Personal Information Processed

  • Optional: None

7. Destruction of Personal Information

BlockDMask deletes personal data without delay once the purpose has been fulfilled. The deletion process and methods are as follows:

  • Procedure: Information entered by the user is moved to a separate database or storage and deleted after the retention period in accordance with internal policy or applicable laws.
  • Timeframe: Personal data will be deleted within 5 days from the end of the retention period or when deemed unnecessary due to service termination, etc.

8. Cookies and Automatic Data Collection

BlockDMask does not use cookies or automatic personal data collection devices.
Any information shared with third parties such as Google follows the user’s device settings and is not controlled by BlockDMask.
